It plays with ur mentality... In a more correct way... It plays with PSYCHOLOGY!!!

There was this Psychology Study...where...

Participants (Ps) were asked to partake in a study where their Pain Threshold was being tested...

Basically they had electrodes attached to their forearms...and electrical currents were passed thru... which, if high enough, it does hurt...!!!

Ps were split into 2 grps

(Im not sure if i remember this correctly, but it was smth very similar)

Grp A was given a 'placebo', they the researcher told them that it would make them feel more pain

Grp B was also given a placebo, and were told that it'd make them feel less pain

The placebo (tablet) that both grps took were the same AND had NO effect on pain threshold.

Results:

Grp A perceived more pain compared to grp B in the same electrical current!!

Conclusion:

If u believe it'll hv an affect...then most probably it will!!!

I personally hate all those tarot n fortune telling stuff...!!!

As i said earlier...they're very tricky...

They dont tell u the exact thing... they just give u a very broad vague hint of something...that makes u develop/snowball into smth meaningful to u...!!
